Old Çarshija in Gjakova

It is one of the biggest attractions at the site. The Old Bazar (Old Çarshija ) was the heart of the economy in Gjakova , a city of  trade and merchandise , which served to the villages around the Gjakova municipality, the Junik zone and the Gjakova Highland in the border with Kosovo and Albania. The Old Bazaar was burned and destroyed and then it was reconstructed after suffering damage during the war 1999 (the last war in Kosovo).
