Spas

This area is known for its natural wealth that offers many sources of thermal mineral waters. Spas are found mainly in the south-eastern part of Kosovo, which in its central part has accumulated underground waters with high mineral values and high temperatures that makes these also thermal waters. The water of the thermal springs of these spas reaches a temperature of mostly up to 37°C. In these springs made by warm waters, a number of diseases are treated and cured. Various centres have been built in these places, which are frequented by visitors and serve for the treatment of various diseases, for curing, rehabilitation and relaxation too.
