Rugova is a mountainous area in the North-West of the city of Peja, in Kosovo. It is the third region of the Cursed Mountains, otherwise known as the Albanian Alps. In 2013 it was declared a National Park by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.

Rugova is the ethnographic environment, of great importance for branches of linguistics such as lexicology, etymology and onomastics. Rugova is a region suitable for mountaineering, mountaineering, skiing, rock climbing, parachuting, family picnics, etc. Rugova is ranked as the fourth major winter sports center by the International Federation of Sicily (FIS) with its headquarters in Lucerne.
Rugova is rich in many forms such as caves, waterfalls, glacial lakes, high peaks, tunnels, etc. the highest peak is Hajla (2403 m) but of importance and interest is also Qafa e Qyqes from which the whole city of Peja can be seen. From Guri i Kuq (1522 m) are seen as in the palm of the hand: Gjeravica, Boriqe triangle, Mariash peak, Hekurave peak, Shkëlzeni and Plava Lake. Volujaku is also a high peak (2014 m).
