Gadime Cave is located in the village of Gadime near Lipjan, Kosovo it is 1500 meters long.
For tourists it is possible to see only the first 1300 meters of the cave, since for the rest of the cave are still not possible crossings. In the cave are the middle floor which is for visitors, the underwater floor and the upper floor. During the summer the temperature inside the cave is constant 13 degrees Celsius and during the winter 11-13 degrees.
Gadime cave was discovered by a villager named Ahmet Asllani, who in the yard of his house while working (breaking) the stones for the construction of the house had encountered a small pit in which he noticed some marble parts and notified the competent bodies in Lipjan. The date on which these notes were entered in the official acts is not known.
People interested in the interior of the cave and who have apparently tried to enter it, have announced that its interior is as beautiful as what tourists see and perhaps even more beautiful. In the cave apparently there are some other natural phenomena such as the lake whose size can be 15 to 25 meters. The rare crystals found in this cave are not found in many countries around the world so these crystals have European value, by the size of growth of crystal at one cm for 30,000 years it follows that the cave is 80,000 years old.
