Sharr Mountains

They lies in the South-East of Kosovo starting from the vicinity of Prizren and go steeply with peaks or rows of pyramids lined up one after another or as it was called from antiquity the Illyrian people, the peaks of the saw, of resemblance to the saws, form consecutive characteristic images in the heart of the Balkans. The Sharr Mountains have been known since antiquity in documents of various authors, since the 5th century BC. named after Mont Skardus, of Herodotus, who also describes the Illyrian tribes and their restrictions.
