Leposavic is a northernmost town and municipality in the District of Mitrovica in Kosovo. As of 2015, it has an estimated population of 18,600 inhabitants. The municipality covers an area of 539 km2.
It is a part of northern Kosovo, a largely ethnic Serb region that functions largely autonomously from the remaining ethnic Albanian majority Kosovo.
